Dinara Alieva makes her role debut as Rusalka in Beijing next week, opening on Tuesday. This production comes at the end of a hugely successful season for Dinara, which has included Mimi (‘La boheme’) for the Wiener Staatsoper, her first Iolanta at the Bolshoi Theatre Moscow, and Leonora (‘Il Trovatore’) at the Israeli Opera conducted by Daniel Oren.

Next season Dinara will sing Desdemona (‘Otello’) for the first time, in a new production of for the Hamburg Opera, ‘Il Trovatore’ for the prestigious Verdi Festival in Parma, and make her debut for the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden as Liu (‘Turandot’).

Dinara also appears as Magda on the Deutsche Oper Berlin’s DVD of ‘La rondine’, directed by Roland Villazon.
