Dinara Alieva makes her debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu
Dinara Alieva makes her debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu today as Mimì in ‘La bohème’, a role she has previously performed in Dresden, Frankfurt and at the Bolshoi. Jonathan Miller’s ENO production will be conducted by Marc Piollet and also stars Nathalie Manfrino, Matthew Polenzani and Artur Ruciński.
This debut concludes a season in which Dinara has also sung Leonora in ‘Il trovatore’ with Daniel Oren at the Israeli Opera and her first Rusalka in Beijing. Next season Dinara performs her first Desdemona in ‘Otello’ at Staatsoper Hamburg (8 Jan – 7 Feb 2017), sings Leonora at the prestigious Verdi Festival in Parma (21-30 Oct 2016), and makes her Covent Garden debut as Liù, in ‘Turandot’ (5-15 Jul 2017).
